What data we collect, and why
Information you provide
When you submit the trial signup form, you provide your name and email address. We use this data for one purpose only: to register you for a free 14-day trial of StrategyQuant. The information is forwarded to StrategyQuant's trial registration endpoint and is not retained on our servers after the request completes. We do not maintain our own marketing list or send you unrelated emails.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard server data including IP address, browser type, pages requested, referrer URL, and approximate location. This data is retained briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes and is not used to identify you personally.
If we have enabled web analytics (Google Analytics 4), it sets cookies in your browser to record aggregate, anonymised usage data — pages visited, time on page, traffic source. This helps us understand which content readers find useful. Analytics data is stored by Google according to their privacy policy. See our Cookies notice for details and opt-out information.
Who we share data with
We share submitted form data only with the following service providers, each of which acts as a processor on our behalf:
- StrategyQuant s.r.o. — receives your name and email for trial registration when you submit the signup form. Their privacy policy is at strategyquant.com/privacy-policy/.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — provides hosting, DNS, CDN, and security services. Cloudflare processes server logs as a normal part of operating the Site.
- Google LLC (if analytics is enabled) — processes aggregate usage data via Google Analytics 4.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or transfer it to anyone outside the providers listed above. We do not engage in cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising.
How long we keep data
Form-submission data passes through our infrastructure to StrategyQuant and is not stored by us. Cloudflare server logs are retained per Cloudflare's standard policy (typically less than 30 days). Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention settings, which we have set to 14 months.
Your rights
If you are based in the UK, EU, or California, you have specific rights under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA respectively. These include the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal exceptions);
- Object to processing or request restriction;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because we don't retain your form submissions after they're forwarded to StrategyQuant, the only data we directly hold about you is anonymised analytics. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
